Enjoy The New Year’s Eve Celebrations In Copacabana

How about a magical night on the New Year's Eve that is filled with fireworks, celebrations, and a live musical extravaganza? The biggest night of the year, should be celebrated at the biggest New Year's Eve celebrations in the world, right? Then, plan your trip to Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, and join the Rio locals (Cariocas) and wait for the clock striking 12, to pop the champagne bottles open, and get enthralled with an explosion of colours through the fireworks from the water's edge at the Copacabana beach.
Even with the economic crisis looming, visitors can rest assured for a fun-filled time in Rio. The traditional 16-minute firework show has been reportedly reduced to 12-minutes. However, even with this slight change, the event-celebration promises to attract close to a million visitors from all over the world.
As this is the peak time of the year, remember to book your accommodations at the hotel of your choice in advance for a comfortable stay. And, it would make sense to reach early to enjoy the celebrations at the Copacabana beach. At the mesmerising water-front on the warm sands, visitors would get enthralled with Brazilian attractions with a line-up including DJ Tucho, funk singer Naldo Benny, pop-rock artist Frejat, and more. The pyrotechnic fireworks will be accompanied by the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra. Also, there would be drones at the beach which would be broadcasting the fireworks' spectacle for the first time.

As you hit the beach for the celebrations, remember to carry your own icebox with some drinks and food. Also, carry plenty of water, as this would help you to cut out travelling to crowded food stands.
